While attending college at Brown College in Minnesota there was a promo they'd give you and in that promo it said "Minnesota hail to thee, we've got it all here in Minnesota." It was a Coca-Cola spot that taught you to edit in Radio & Television Broadcasting. "All" meaning the joys of what Minnesota and its 10,000 lakes had to offer. But the underlined truth of Minnesota-Nice for Black people never truly allowed for "All" of its joys. Look at her now. A lion was set loose at Como Park Zoo last night. Auto Zone is burned to the ground. A police station has been set on fire. Target, Cub Foods, and 7-Mile Bargain has been looted along with a Goodwill, a furniture store, and a pawn shop where the Owner shot and killed a man.
At 4:00AM Friday May 29th, 2020 500 members of the National Guard are on their way to Minnesota to restore order with a guided kill Tweet from President Trump that says:

Thank you!" ---This in an age where Covid-19 is real. Majority of the country is on unemployment. And life as we know it has changed. Twitter added a public interest note regarding the Presidents Tweet. He has not spoken to the family of George Floyd.
My parents, sisters, and family are there right now. Stores have been closed. Public transportation has been ordered to cease for the next four days. All food and delivery services have stopped. And I get it, I'd close my store too in fear of robbery.
My question is simple. If it were your family member that was killed as in the way George Floyd was killed, would you want peace? Respectfully I say no. If my daughter was killed at the hand of an officer I'd say kill everybody involved. Sad but true. Forgive what? What justice? Whenever America has been attacked, it retaliates right? So why wouldn't I? Why wouldn't you? We've been too peaceful and I believe you fix this via legislation and charging those that do these crimes right away.
Four Officers! One on his neck, one on his back, one on his legs, and the other holding back those that tried to intervene. A 17 year old records the video that went viral as Officers lied in their reports and now plead the 5th. Aint that a Bitch!
I wonder what would have happened had Mr Williams, the man that was telling them it was a choke hold, had rushed the officers. The knee was on his neck for 8 minutes. ---In my frustration I say let it burn! Sounds bad, I know, but for every engaged spirit in the creation of law enforcement that has unjustly killed and gotten away with it. For every film that depicted Black people as sub-human. For the very reason police came into being after slavery in the first. I say let it burn.
